The Lindensaga™
The Lindensaga is a trademark (TM) of Richard L. Hardesty.
Spoken into existence by the will of the High One, Linden is a world of contrasts. Five races were created to populate Linden: the Teluri, the First Born, are immortal, wise and learned, but not infallible; Dwarves came next, dwellers under the earth and on it, they are miners, jewelers, metallurgists and sometimes farmers; the Faeorlinga are creatures of the wilds, possessed of unknown powers and unseen since the wars of the Dim Times and the most mysterious of the Five Races. The Giants were charged with a sacred trust: to guard and defend the World against Evil when it appears, but they have forgotten their purpose and languish in their northern enclaves mired in false teachings. Created last, mortal, but often long-lived, the Humans are the most populous of the five, wise and foolish, fickle and steadfast, the Humans have the most potential for greatness...and for iniquity.
The Five Races live often in harmony, but wars and violence are also a part of their histories and will be until the end of time when the world is broken and re-made.
This, then, is the world in which the Tales of the Lindensaga™ are told. We may think it fantasy, but it is very real and you will enjoy your visit there among the cities, forests. and peoples of the World of Linden.
